About US

Founded in 1952, the Old Saybrook Garden Club is a dedicated group of volunteers who provide the labor and raise the funds for the beautification of our community.

Through sales of our annual Gardeners' Market and the generosity of community donors who value our efforts, we are able to:

  • Plant and maintain the Main Street Planters, plantings at the head of Main Street, the Police Headquarters, the Acton Library and the Firehouse memorial.
  • Install the annual holiday light and wreath displays on Main Street.
  • Annual scholarship awarded to a deserving High School senior, residing in Old Saybrook, who is interested in pursuing the study of botany or environmental science.
  • Provide educational outreach with gardening, nature and conservation experiences for children.

Your donations make all of this possible – if you do not plan to purchase plants this year, please consider making a donation so that we can be able to continue to keep Old Saybrook beautiful – we greatly appreciate your support.
